Farm to Table Articles for Salt Lake Magazine by Lydia from Suitcase Foodist

I’ve started a new adventure the past couple of months.  I’ve always been a fan of Salt Lake Magazine.  They do a beautiful spread and great online content about my hometown.

I’ve started writing for their online ‘Farm to Table’ blog about local food, farmers, sips and the other exciting things going on in the foodist world here in the Salty City…

I wanted to share a couple of my articles here – because I am meeting some amazing people and also excited about some of my upcoming articles.  I hope you’ll check them out!

Bitters Lab

Craft Bitters made in the heart of Salt Lake City.  Bitters Lab is preaching that bitters aren’t just for cocktails anymore (although the owners Jesse & Andrea make a mean whisky sour).  Find out what goes into their craft bitters HERE.  Oh, and by the way …. The cover photo for this post is of Jesse & Andrea.  Jesse’s day job is as a professional photographer and he provided me with their photo.

Lick’d Pops

Our friends Tiffany and Ryan are the owners of Lick’d – hands down the BEST popsicles I’ve ever had.  Ever.  Check out the story of how they got started HERE.

Hope you enjoyed checking these out and learning about some of the cool things we have going on in our burgeoning food city.  Stay tuned for more foodist articles.
